Birthday Party for Laura/X-23
It's a pretty low-key party, all things considered, and not significantly different than the one Parker or Meg would have thrown in a dorm room for a friend at home, not-exactly-traditional menu not withstanding.
There's music, low enough to talk over (and maybe with a little more folk in the mix than one expects to find a party). Balloons and streamers in purple and blue and red. A place to leave presents. People to meet or catch up with.
And, most importantly, a chance to wish X-23 (or Laura) a very happy birthday.

Also most everything else. He left the table itself at least? Um.
"You okay?"
He can see no reason why she wouldn't be. But someone has cemented the phrase in to his lexicon.

This pause is longer.
"The music is not very loud."

But it's true the volume's a little on the low side.
"You want it loud?"
He can fix it for her. Music is supposed to be enjoyed, after all. Even if it could only be considered music under the most generous of circumstances.

Even though X can smell people, the reinforcement of hearing them approach is nice to have.

Stitch has absolutely no objections to the music being quiet. His reasons for wanting to filter it out might be slightly different than hers though.
His gaze travels from the sound system to the gift table. He emits a low impressed whistle at the swag in evidence.

One set of claws tap his chin absently in thought.

It clearly makes sense to her.

Someone may be envisioning a Saguaro dwelling in X's living room.

This pause is longer.
"It is the Cactus With No Name."

The fact that it's living on her table, however, has left him looking suitably fascinated. Learning what a cactus is from Roadrunner cartoons has lead to some interesting mental images forming over the course of this exchange.
"Egalagoo..." says Stitch in what is not at all an awed whisper. Really.
